But then we look at these faces. These smiles. These families. And we’re reminded exactly why this place matters.

For a community that believes everyone deserves a place to belong.
This place belongs to you. 💙
And seeing it filled with so much joy, laughter and baseball made the dream feel real.

What a weekend. What a community. What a field.
And what a beautiful reminder that when we build with inclusion in mind, everyone gets to be part of the team.

Today wasn’t just opening day. It was a celebration of what happens when a community comes together to make sure everyone has a place to play. ❤️⚾
What an incredible feeling to officially open our new accessible field and to look around and see so many members of our community, families, athletes, volunteers, and funding partners there to share the moment with us.

This field represents so much more than a new place to play. It represents belonging, opportunity, inclusion, and the belief that everyone deserves the chance to be part of the team.

To our incredible funding partners, community supporters, volunteers, and everyone who helped turn this vision into reality, thank you. Your investment in our community is creating opportunities that will be felt for years to come.
And to every athlete who steps onto this field: this field is yours.

Because everyone deserves a place where they can play, compete, connect, make memories, and most importantly, feel like they belong.

Everyone deserves a place to be part of the team. Today, we made that belief a reality.

A night to Remember. 💙⚾
Tonight, we stepped onto our new adaptive field for the very first time and there are no words quite big enough to describe what that moment meant.

Seeing players, families, volunteers, coaches, supporters and our incredible community come together to celebrate this space was truly special. This field is so much more than a diamond. It represents belonging, opportunity, inclusion and the belief that everyone deserves a place to play.

To look around and see so many people sharing in that first night, laughing, cheering, connecting and simply being together, was a reminder of why this field matters so much.
This is just the beginning, but what a way to begin.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this dream a reality, and to everyone who came out to share this unforgettable first night with us.
Here’s to many more games, memories, friendships and moments to come.

Today at Four Fathers Brewing Co., community, friendship, and a whole lot of fun came together for an incredible cause!
We’re so excited to share that more than $1,250 was raised through today’s fundraiser, with the proceeds being shared between Buddy League and Cambridge Ice Hounds

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, donated, participated, cheered us on, and helped make today such a success. And an especially big thank you to Four Fathers Brewing for opening your doors, supporting our cause, and helping make this fundraiser possible.

Days like today are a perfect reminder of what happens when a community comes together.

This week, our Buddy teams took on our friends from Sheffield in our annual showdown and WOW, did they make us work for it!

It came down to some of the final runs, big plays, and plenty of cheering from both sides. In the end, our Buddy teams managed to bring home the win again this year!

But as always, the best part wasn’t the scoreboard, it was the friendships, sportsmanship, and memories made along the way. 💙

Thanks for another amazing game, Sheffield! We’ll see you next year… and we’re already looking forward to it! 😉⚾️

Everyone deserves a personal fan club. 📣💙
Being part of a team and learning a sport gives our athletes so much more than the physical benefits. It builds confidence, creates friendships, teaches teamwork, and perhaps most importantly gives them a place where they belong.

One of our Buddy League athletes recently had something pretty special happen: her brothers' ball team came out to cheer her on. 🥹⚾️
The smiles.
The cheers.
The pride.

The feeling of knowing your people are in the stands.
That’s what Buddy League is all about.
Because every athlete deserves the chance to play, every athlete deserves to be celebrated, and every athlete deserves a fan club. 💙

This is what inclusion looks like. 💙

A joke told through an AAC device. A friend who listened. And two players laughing so hard that you don’t need words to understand the moment. 🥹

Because communication isn’t one-size-fits-all. Sometimes it’s spoken words. Sometimes it’s an AAC device, a gesture, a sign, a smile -- or a perfectly timed joke that leaves everyone laughing.

Everyone deserves to have a voice.
Everyone deserves to be heard.
And everyone deserves a place where they can be themselves, connect with others, and make memories.

Today was one of those days that reminds us why Buddy League and Challenger Baseball are about so much more than the game. ⚾️💙

Today, we had the chance to meet new friends from other programs, welcome some very special guests from Moncton, New Brunswick, and share the field with an amazing group of athletes, families, coaches, and volunteers.

And getting to experience all of that on the Roy Halladay Field made the day even more special. What a memorable place to create new memories, new friendships, and celebrate what baseball can mean to everyone.

It was about who we met, the memories we made, and the joy we shared. ⚾️
Thank you to everyone who made today so special. We can’t wait to see where these new friendships take us next!
