Champions on the ice and role models beyond it 🏒❤️

A huge congratulations to the on an incredible Sutherland Cup season and championship win! Our Ice Hounds players have been cheering you on all year long, so getting to be part of the celebration at the parade this weekend was incredible.

Week after week, both of our teams call the same arena home. While we may play at different levels of hockey, this season reminded us that the love of the game connects everyone. Hockey is for everybody -- and hockey has a special way of bringing people together.

Our players look up to the Redhawks not only for what they accomplish on the ice, but for the connection, encouragement, and inspiration they’ve shared throughout the season. Thank you for showing our athletes what teamwork, dedication, and community truly look like.

Today the Ice Hounds hit the ice against the Woolwich Sunrays -- and the rink was absolutely glowing!

The Sunrays brought the sunshine, our Hounds brought the spirit, and together they lit up the ice.

That’s the beauty of adaptive hockey. It’s confidence built in every stride. It’s teammates lifting each other up. It’s athletes stepping into their moment to shine.

Grateful for a game full of smiles, courage, and community. 💙 💛

On Pink Shirt Day, we’re reminded that sometimes the most important assist doesn’t show up on the scoreboard.

It looks like this.

A hand held.
A moment of encouragement.
A coach who celebrates your moment.
An opponent who cheers you on.
A teammate to hug.

Bullying isolates.
Kindness connects.

On the Ice Hounds, we believe everyone deserves support, belonging, and someone willing to skate beside them -- all the way to the goal. 💗🏒

Because no one should ever feel like they’re out there alone.

This weekend, the Ice Hounds took on the Rochester Friendship Tournament -- and true to its name, it was all about friendship. 💙🐾

Yes, we brought the energy.
Yes, we brought the cheers.
And yes… we absolutely brought the tutus. 💙✨

But more than anything, we brought community.

From shared laughs in the dressing rooms to new friendships formed between games, this tournament reminded us why we do this. Hockey has a beautiful way of breaking down barriers and building connection. It creates space for everyone to belong, to be celebrated, and to feel part of something bigger.

So proud of our Hounds for playing with heart, supporting one another, and showing that inclusion isn’t just a word -- it’s something we live out every time we step on the ice.

Friendship. Community. Connection.
That’s Hounds hockey. 🐾💙

Love comes in so many forms -- friendship, family, community, and the moments we share together. 💙🐾

This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating everyone who’s part of the Ice Hounds family -- players, coaches, fans, supporters, and all who bring heart to what we do. You belong here, you matter here, and we’re grateful to share this journey with you.

Here’s to connection, kindness, and spreading the love today and every day. Happy Valentine’s Day! 💙💛

Smiles everywhere you looked this weekend 💙🏒

On the ice. On the bench. In the stands. Between shifts and after every cheer.

This weekend was filled with the kind of joy you can’t script -- the kind that comes from feeling included, supported, and part of something bigger. Athletes playing with confidence, teammates lifting each other up, families and fans sharing in every moment.

These smiles are what community looks like.
They’re why we do this.
And they’re the best reminder that hockey is about so much more than the game -- it’s about connection, belonging, and joy. ✨

So many moments, so much joy ✨🏒

Our Young Stars Showcase was packed with big smiles, incredible skills, and the kind of confidence that lights up the ice. From highlight-worthy goals to contagious laughter, these athletes showed us exactly why this showcase is so special.

And of course… the fan favourite made its return -- the slider race, bringing out the biggest cheers and the loudest laughs.

These snapshots capture the heart of the day: celebrating effort, growth, and the pure joy of the game.
Our Young Stars shone bright, and we couldn’t be more proud. ⭐🤍

Today, we celebrate the girls and women who step onto the ice with courage, heart, and determination

Sport is more than competition.
It’s confidence built one shift at a time.
It’s friendships, resilience, and learning to believe in yourself -- on the ice and beyond it.

National Girls & Women in Sports Day reminds us that when girls are given the space to play, grow, and lead, they don’t just participate -- they rise.
They build confidence, find their voices, and unlock their full power on the ice and far beyond it.
