Happening May 6th.

May 6th, 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Wanner Mennonite Church
Come join us to learn how to prevent harm in our community. As any bystander witnessing a potential harmful situation knows, discerning how to move from passive observation to effective action is not easy. TAB equips participants with the tools they need to prevent harm-doing and contribute to a healthier community. Active bystander training helps participants see themselves as individuals who can intervene when they witness abusive, isolating or stigmatizing behaviour. This free in-person training is suitable for individuals over the age of 13. A light supper will be provided at 6:00PM (optional donations accepted for food costs) and the training will begin at 6:30pm in the lower auditorium at Wanner Mennonite Church.
