Next UP is made possible by the support of progressive unions through partnerships, reciprocal learning, and funding. We believe in the importance of unions within social change work and have worked as allies with labour on issues like advancing childcare and public health care, defending workers’ rights, building a healthy environment and much, much more.

We stand in solidarity and learning with unions and workers that are looking inward, challenging labour’s history of systemic racism and confronting toxic internal structures. We are stronger, together!

As I’ve been connecting with some of you, I see folks filling gaps, meeting needs, struggling, experiencing injustice yourselves, and mobilizing in these pandemic times. I’ve been both exhausted and energized and I’m sure you are too. And like many of you, I’m also thinking... what now?

How can we sustain one another? Where are the new opportunities to shift our systems? How can we ensure that activism doesn’t become invisible in times of isolation?

Join us on Sundays (at 11:00 AM MST) to chat with others nationally about how you are, what you’re doing - and what we can do together. We’ll be hosting a series of online conversations to bring Next UP grads and friends together to connect and think through our collective future. The first call will help us plan for what you want to talk through next.

You can RSVP below (registration not necessary but will help us plan how to connect you with others from your area)
