Dance Fusion Calgary

Dance Fusion Calgary Dance Fusion is a Calgary based Latin dance performance group. Our mission is to promote Latín Américan Folklore, Afro-Latin & Urban Style across Canadá

The purpose of the group is to create a safe and healthy space for the expression of community and culture through dance. The group exhibits a unique fusion of Latin American Folklore, Afro-Latino, and Estilo-Urbano styles. Through their art, the group hopes to create bridges between communities within Calgary. Since the group’s creation in 2011, performers have participated in festivals across Alberta. Additionally, they have facilitated classes, encouraging community members to join them.

Dance Fusion Calgary proudly took part in the Taste of Nations Festival for the first time on January 24th in Airdrie. 🙌 We joyfully kicked off our 2026 dance season, filled with excitement and positive energy. Thank you to Rockie View Immigrant Services for inviting us this year.

We're so excited to be part of the Taste of Nation festival in Airdrie for the first time!
We're kicking off the 2026 dancing season this Saturday, and we'd love for you to join us on stage at 1:50 PM. Come enjoy a delicious variety of cultural foods, watch lively dance and music performances, and learn about Airdrie's wonderful communities.

It's all happening on Saturday, January 24th at the Town and Country Centre, starting at 12PM, and the best part? It's a FREE family event!

We are excited to welcome new members!

Join us in exploring Afro-Latin, indigenous, and urban Latin American dance styles. Participate in performances at Alberta's most significant cultural festival and other exciting events. Help us keep the vibrant tradition of Latin American dances alive in Calgary while making connections and contributing to community and cultural expressions.

Please note that intermediate to advanced dance experience is required.
You are invited to attend a drop-in Estilo Urbano session on Tuesday, September 30, at 8 PM at 📍Connection Dance and Creative Studios, located at 2600 Portland Street SE. The cover charge is $10. Don’t miss this opportunity!
