As another incredible outdoor soccer season comes to a close, we’re reflecting with immense gratitude on everything our community built together this summer.
From high-energy summer camps and neighborhood drop-in practices to competitive play where participants earned well-deserved medals, this season was about so much more than what happened on the pitch.
We watched new friendships form and confidence grow. We saw our youngest participants take their first big steps into Grade 1, while several dedicated camp counselors began their next chapter at university. We also welcomed first-time volunteers who stepped up to give back—proof that when we support one another, our entire community grows stronger.
This summer, progress extended far beyond athletic skills. Together, we built belonging, trust, resilience, and meaningful connections that will last long after the final whistle.
None of this would be possible without the unwavering commitment of our donors, champions, supporters, and the entire Umoja family. Your generosity, time, and belief in our youth are the foundation that keeps these barrier-free programs thriving.
As the weather cools and we say goodbye to the outdoor fields, the movement continues. We’re excited to transition indoors, keeping our youth active, developing, and growing together all winter long.

Thank you to every player, family, counselor, donor, volunteer, and champion who made this summer unforgettable.
See you indoors!
