Big congratulations to Anne Hibberd representing Canada at our first Para bowls Commonwealth Games. Anne and her partner Jean Stairs from New Brunswick did an amazing job against a highly competitive field and got Canada represented at CG Para bowls. Well done Anne, keep up the good work.

We have had some fun this month so far with a Canada Day Jitney (tournament) where most everyone donned red & white. This Terry's and Wendy's first tournament and they did great. Having fun playing with everyone on the green - very inclusive and welcoming group at Stanley Park Lawn Bowling Club.

We had our first introduction to adaptive bowls this week. These fine people came out to give it a try. It was super fun as they learned a new skill and tested their abilities.
Hoping to keep the Para Bowls program rolling at Stanley Park Lawn Bowling Club on Tuesday evenings 7-9 and Thursdays 1-3.
