Mahogany Ward Relief Society The Relief Society's purpose is to increase faith and personal righteousness, strengthen families and homes, seek out and help those in need.

The Relief Society, established in 1842 by revelation through our Heavenly Father, to organize, teach, and inspire His daughters and prepare them for the blessings of eternal life by helping them increase faith and personal righteousness, strengthen families and homes, and seek out and help those in need. Emma Smith was the first Relief Society President 1842-44. In 1913 Emmeline Woodward B. Wells

makes "Charity Never Faileth" the Relief Society's motto. The motto remains the guide to all Relief Society's around the world.
