The SFYN unites groups of active young Slow Food members from all over the globe into 1 international network. The local groups independently create original and engaging events; raising awareness about food issues and providing means to take action. SFYN promotes cooperation between local groups, facilitates the exchange of knowledge and ideas, and campaigns internationally; thus, combining the powers of young food activists from all over the world!

BREAKING: The Chinese Army has banned GMO grains and oils from the military food supply, citing health & safety concerns. This move by the Chinese army is being seen as yet another step towards the Chinese government’s expected ban on the import of all GMO grains and oilseeds within the next 2 years, due to growing public concern over GMO safety. The expected ban would be a huge blow to the Biotech industry worldwide. This leads us to ask... growing concern in China? What about us?!
