ough word and deed. All of our ministries are prayerfully led by men and women with a passion to share the Gospel. Some of our ministries give Christians opportunities to explore their faith and learn to share it. Other ministries give non-believers a forum to ask questions and begin faith journeys, while additional ministries offer a helping hand to hurting people in unfortunate circumstances, regardless of their religion, race or culture. Christ said: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself (Luke 10:27)." At the BGEAC, modeling ourselves after our founder, we strive to do that every day.

“Gardens don’t grow by themselves; they need to be tended and cultivated and weeded. The same is true of a marriage,” Billy Graham once said.

On Aug. 13, 1943, Billy and Ruth Graham committed their marriage to the Lord as they stood before family and friends at a small chapel in Montreat, North Carolina. For decades, the couple faithfully served the Lord and each other as they followed His call for their lives.

In a note to her beloved husband in 1978, Ruth wrote:

A dream fulfilled …

To walk with you
through all these years,
through every kind
of weather,
and walk into
the setting sun
still loving
and … together.

In moments of crisis, Billy Graham Rapid Response Chaplains are bringing comfort and the hope of Jesus to people around the world.

From responding in Venezuela after twin earthquakes, to sharing hope amid the drug crisis in New Brunswick, and coming alongside Ottawa homeowners after 6,600 basements flooded, chaplains are meeting people where they are.

Ashley's* home was among the approximately 180 that flooded in Minitonas-Bowsman, Manitoba, in mid-June. She expressed heartfelt gratitude for the spiritual care she had received from our crisis-trained chaplains in the aftermath of the devastation.

Other BG-RRT chaplains are also helping homeowners experiencing similar loss in Ottawa, Ontario. Our chaplains have been present to listen, pray, and encourage homeowners dealing with these disasters.
