Together, We Did It

After years of hard work and advocacy from families across Canada, legislation has finally been introduced to create paid leave for parents who experience pregnancy or infant loss — a cause Conservatives have championed from the very beginning.

This journey began years ago with Motion 110, and despite Liberal opposition and repeated delays, Conservatives never stopped fighting alongside families to make compassion the standard in federal policy.

Now, with Bill C-222 sponsored by a government MP, there’s real hope this will finally become law.

As we mark Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day, we honour every angel child and every family who has walked this difficult path.

Your voices, your persistence, and your courage have made this possible — and Conservatives will keep fighting until it’s passed. 💜
