Three neighbourhoods, one haul!

Once a year, Signal Hill, Discovery Ridge, and Springbank Hill share a parking lot, a line of trucks, and a plan. Old couch, broken bike, the lamp you meant to donate — drive it over, drop it, drive home. All for Free.

Join our community clean up on Saturday June 13 between 9am - 2pm at the Westside King’s Church (3939 69 Street SW).

Calgary Police are reporting an uptick in break-ins across SW communities — most cases involve unlocked cars or open garages. The 60-second 9 PM routine: lock all doors + windows, secure the garage, lock vehicles (yes, even in the garage), pull garage door openers from cars, check exterior lights, confirm cameras are on.

Our Community Cleanup is coming up Saturday June 13th.

Reduce clutter and keep our neighbourhood clean. Community Cleanup events help residents safely dispose of household items that do not fit in their garbage cart, keeping our neighbourhoods cleaner and more tidy.

This is a joint event with Springbank Hill + Discovery Ridge. We are looking for volunteers to help us on the day to make it happen: Sign up at shca.ca/pages/cleanup.html

Volunteerism is what runs our association, please help us spread the word!

Calgary’s outdoor watering schedule is now permanent and split by house number.

Even addresses (0/2/4/6/8) → Tue/Thu/Sat.
Odd addresses (1/3/5/7/9) → Wed/Fri/Sun.

Allowed times: before 10am or after 7pm.

Hand-watering, food gardens, kids in sprinklers, and pool fills are exempt — water those any time.
