Trevor, a truly special member of Carbon who is always there to help others. He’s recently been diagnosed with cancer, and as someone self-employed, this journey brings financial challenges.

We’re encouraging everyone to come to the Spaghetti Supper fundraiser to show Trevor some love, enjoy a meal, and support him during this difficult time. Let’s show Trevor the strength of our community! 💙

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers who helped run the Carbon Community Centre casino over the last two days! These events are so important for us to keep running.

The Carbon AG Society has their casino coming up on August 15 and 16. If you are able to volunteer, please contact Debbie at 403-818-3108.

Update: Positions filled.

We just had 2 positions open in the cash cage from 6:15 PM to close for our casino on Wednesday, February 25th.

The Carbon Community Centre relies on this casino to keep the doors open. If you can fill these shifts, please call or text 403-820-2277 as soon as possible.

🎰 VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED – CASINO FUNDRAISER 🎰

Our Carbon Community Centre casino is coming up February 24 & 25, and we are still in need of volunteers to help fill shifts. This casino is our most important fundraiser and truly the reason we are able to keep our doors open. Without it, we simply couldn’t operate.

The good news? The shifts are easy, no experience is required, and it’s always a fun time. Food is provided, and carpooling or hotel accommodations are available if needed.

If you’re able to help for a shift (or two!), it makes a huge difference for our Centre and the entire community. 🙌

Thank you to everyone who entered a pot, came out to taste, and helped make the event such a fun success! 🌶️🔥

A big thank you to Santa for joining us, and to the Carbon Fire & Rescue for bringing him in on the fire truck. 🚒

We also appreciate the Village of Carbon Library and the Carbon Legion 161 for providing awesome gifts for the kids, and the Carbon Valley Community Church for making the night festive with their carolling.

And thank you to the Village of Carbon for hosting their Light the Night celebration that same evening. The tree lighting and town lights helped make the whole night feel extra festive. 🎄✨
