The Fig Tree Foundation (http://figtreefoundation.org) is a Calgary based initiative seeking to foster collaboration among people and organizations involved in International Aid and Development. Whether an investment of time, money or focus, each should be viewed through the same prism of responsibility; a responsibility to stay informed, ensure accountability and retain a sense of ownership well

beyond any single act of generosity or heartfelt spirit. As such, we must seek to be judged by the good we do, not merely our intentions in doing it.
