Do you ever wish you had more time? Do you find yourself stressed and anxious about all the things you need to get done and how there simply isn't enough time to do it all? Well we have something that might get you on the right track.
Dr. Sean Grondin, the program director of Thoracic Surgery here in Calgary, has graciously offered to run a time management workshop free of charge for students who are struggling with the juggling act our life often becomes. It is an interactive seminar that forces you to identify key issues with your time management skills, and offers solutions on how to reduce the last minute cramming and the anxiety of work overload.
The Active Living program at UofC has also been kind enough to run a yoga session - free for students - to contribute to the physical aspect of student wellness.
Mindful of your schedules, this event will take 2.5 hours of your time at most (program included below) and will save you many more hours after all the time management skills you will pick up...
Registration is free, but it's on a first come first serve basis as there are limited spots. There is no cost to the registration, but if you need to cancel, please notify us by e-mail out of courtesy to your fellow students so we can have someone else fill your spot.
Hope you can make time to attend this event - it will be well worth it.
