We got that a lot today while being pet, making smiles and telling people all about PALS pet therapy and the work we do in Calgary. Dogs make great hand warmers. 🤣🤣

🏥🐾 Visiting Rockyview General Hospital is always meaningful for our PALS therapy teams.

From patients and families to nurses, healthcare workers, and support staff, we’re grateful for the time we regularly spend with the incredible people at Rockyview General Hospital.

Hospitals can be overwhelming, emotional, and high-stress environments. Through our pet therapy program, PALS aims to create small moments of relief, warmth, and normalcy during someone’s day—whether that’s sharing a smile, a conversation, or a quiet moment with a therapy animal 🐶✨

These visits mean so much to our volunteers, too. Being welcomed into spaces like Rockyview is a reminder of how powerful the human–animal bond can be in healthcare settings across Calgary 🐾

Another week of meaningful visits for our PALS therapy teams ☀️

This week we’re spending time with:
✨ Clients and staff at The Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured (ARBI)
✨ Youth ages 13–18 at George Wood Learning Centre

Our therapy animal teams are proud to support people in so many different environments across Calgary—from rehabilitation and recovery spaces to schools and youth programs 🐶✨

Every visit is an opportunity to create a positive moment, encourage engagement, and share the impact of the human–animal bond with those who may need it most 🐾

Thank you to ARBI and George Wood Learning Centre for welcoming PALS into your spaces 🐾💙

Thank you to everyone that made this kick off of a huge success. May 23-June 6th! So many people and their dogs came out in support of our Calgary pet therapy cause.

Helping people that don’t have access to pets.

To all of the 54 hotdog restaurants and food trucks we cant wait to eat every one of you. To the team this pour is in thanks to you and your new expanded patio…check it out. 🍻
