Today, Niitoiyis Family Support Society was honoured to be represented at the launch of the Rotary Club of Mohkinstsis Urban Indigenous, Alberta’s first Indigenous Rotary Club. We were especially proud to have our Tiny Tots Princess, Avery, join this special celebration.
The event brought together Elders, community leaders, organizations, and partners in recognition of Indigenous leadership, service, collaboration, and a shared commitment to stronger communities.
Congratulations to MĂ©tis Elder Art Cunningham for his vision and dedication, and to President Megan Sinclair and the inaugural leadership team as they begin this exciting new chapter. We wish the Rotary Club of Mohkinstsis Urban Indigenous every success and look forward to the positive impact it will have for years to come.
