Niitoiyis Family Support Society Niitoiyis Family Support Society is a woman's emergency shelter that consists of 32 beds that operate 24 hours a day.

Crisis counselors are on call 24 hours a day. If you are in immediate crisis please call our crisis line at 403 531-1972 or 403 531-1976. The Awo Taan Healing Lodge Society works to Shield, support, and empower women and children against family violence. Awo Taan Healing Lodge (formerly Awo Taan Native Women's Shelter Society) is a 32-bed, full service emergency shelter that provides services to women and children from all cultures who have suffered from family violence and all forms of abuse.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today for Sisters in Spirit. We are deeply grateful for your presence, participation, love and support. Today was a beautiful reflection of unity as we came together to honour, remember and stand in solidarity with Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit people and their families. ❤️

Please join us today at The Confluence (formerly Fort Calgary) as we gather for Sisters in Spirit. We will meet at 11:00 a.m. near the main doors, with the walk beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Today, October 4, we honour and remember our missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and Two-Spirit+ people, and we hold their families, loved ones and survivors close.

Sisters in Spirit is about remembrance, but it is also about continuing to raise our voices, seek justice, and ensure that those who are missing and those whose lives were taken are never forgotten.

Today, we remember. Today, we stand together. ❤️UNITY ❤️
