Dear Community Members,

We are pleased to announce that the Sri Lanka High Commission in Ottawa, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Canada Association – Calgary (SLCA Calgary), will be offering a Mobile Consular Service in Calgary to assist members of our Sri Lankan community with important consular matters.

This is a valuable opportunity for community members to access consular services locally without having to travel to Ottawa.

Consular Services Available

The services offered include:

Dual citizenship

Passport renewal

Registration of birth and citizenship

Registration of death

Driving license renewal

Certification of birth, marriage, and death extracts

Attestation of documents

Powers of attorney

Affidavits

Visa applications

To help us assess the demand for this service, we kindly invite all Sri Lankan community members to participate in the survey linked below.

What a wonderful night at Island Nite 2026, hosted by the Sri Lanka Canada Association! ❤️🇱🇰🇨🇦 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night so special.

Sagayamary Dunstan, beloved wife of Dunstan Mani, with whom she shared 27 years of marriage, passed away on September 3rd, 2026, at the age of 50.

She was a beloved mother and wife, and a cherished member of her community. Sagayamary worked at Canada Post, where she was loved and respected by those around her.

She loved spending time with her friends and family, and treasured the moments she shared with the people she loved. Her kindness, warmth, and love will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
