🐾 Please Return Our Community Chairs! 🪑

A few chairs belonging to the Glamorgan Community Association were recently placed in the Glamorgan Dog Park for everyone to enjoy while spending time with their furry friends.

We’ve noticed that the chairs are no longer there. If you have moved or taken any of the chairs, we kindly ask that you please return them to the Glamorgan Dog Park so that the whole community can continue to enjoy them.

These chairs were purchased with funding from the YYC Good Places Grant specifically to help enhance our community spaces and provide amenities for residents to enjoy. They are community property and are intended to remain available for everyone to use in the dog park.

Thank you for helping us keep our community spaces welcoming and accessible for everyone! 🐶

If you know where the chairs are, please return them to the dog park or send us a direct message.

The time to apply for the rain barrel rebate is NOW.

As of August 5th, 2026 there are 970 rebates left to claim. If you are a Calgary resident, check out the rain barrel rebate program to learn if you are eligible.

You can receive $50 back per barrel for up to three rain barrels through this program. It is an easy application that can be completed online, in person at the Green Calgary office, or you can mail it in.

The program closes on October 31, 2026 or when funding runs out, whichever comes first.

Green Calgary is a leading urban environmental charity. Find out about rain barrel and composter sales, green products, plus corporate, school and kids' programs.

We’re excited by the incredible interest from vendors who want to be part of a Glamorgan Community Holiday Market this year—but we need your help to make it happen!
We’re looking for volunteers to help:
✨Chair the Holiday Market Committee
✨Plan and organize the event
✨Coordinate vendors and logistics
✨ Help on event day
Whether you have event planning experience or simply want to support your community, we’d love to have you on the team.
Without volunteers, we won’t be able to host the Holiday Market this year.
