Come visit us at the 7 Chiefs Sportsplex & Chief Jim Starlight Centre at Tsuut'ina Nation this Saturday to kick some Stampede celebrations and visit with some of our Miniature Horses! There will also be a FREE Pancake Breakfast and lots for FREE family fun! Starting at 9am running til noon with FREE Parking. Get your Stampede Spirit flowing 🙂

We are only 7 weeks away from the 2026 Calgary Stampede Miniature Horse Show. Entries will be open as of May 1st so get your info together 😉 We have some exciting news for this year, our cash prizes have increased! From 1st place to 4th place in classes, you will receive more $$ than ever before! And... for those of you brave enough to try the Gambler's Choice class, payout will be $500!!! We have even increased our Supreme Halter Horse to $500... per judge! So, get your entries in and come join in on the fun. Looking forward to seeing everyone! 🐴🏆

Well Stampede is over for another year and although I’m a bit late in posting, I need to take a minute to say thank you to everyone for making our 45th anniversary a huge success! To our judges Rod & Sami for being so easy to work with and so much fun. To my fellow committee members, thanks for helping out and putting up with all the last minute chaos! And to the exhibitors, YOU ARE ALL AMAZING! You guys show up year after year with beautiful talented horses and your enthusiasm is contagious. Our exhibitors and their families are always willing to give us a hand with jumps & obstacles or helping at the gate or just about anything! Honestly, you guys are the best part of this whole process! I so enjoy seeing everyone and getting a chance to visit with you all. I truly appreciate all the help over the years that I’ve been chair of this committee. You guys are truly the reason I come back year after year. Have there been bumps in the road, absolutely. But we have overcome them and then we all come back the next year and it just gets better and better. Thanks for making my time as chair SO MUCH FUN!

Day #2 is in the books! It was a wonderful day and our exhibitors showed us so many beautiful and talented horses! We also had a very talented group of young ladies participate in a short demo during the Cowboy Up competition showcasing that these “little” horses can do just about anything! Big thanks to these ladies for helping us out and showing off their skills on the big stage 🤠

1st day of the show is in the books! We saw some beautiful horses and expert handlers yesterday, and expecting today to be even better! Come on down to the Northern Lights Arena today and see what all the fuss is about!

Everyone has moved in and today is Day 1 of our 45th anniversary show! Sun is shining and it looks to be a beautiful day for a horse show. Our exhibitors are prepping horses and having some fun… Come on down to the grounds and see what the fuss is all about… you won’t be disappointed! We have the best group of people and volunteers around! 🤠

Happy Stampede Parade Day! Today is the official start to Stampede and the best parade around! Come watch our beautiful miniature horses in the parade today then follow them down to the grounds for free entry to Stampede! And don’t forget our “Spot the Unicorn” contest!
