Some experiences are hard to explain until you hear someone else put words to them.

This study is exploring what can happen when bereaved parents and the people closest to them come together, watch stories created by other families affected by SIDS/SUID, and simply talk about what those stories bring up.

Sometimes a story does more than inform us. It can open a door to a conversation that has been waiting for a long time. If this speaks to you, we would be grateful to hear from you. Please see the poster for details or reach out to the research team to learn more.

The ISPID (International Society for the Study and Prevention of Perinatal and Infant Death) conference is coming up soon and is virtual this year. SIDS Calgary society has been a proud member of this organization for many years and are grateful to continue to learn and be a part of this.

All are welcome to register for this incredible conference that combines the passion of bereaved parents with the world's leading experts on infant survival. If you are a bereaved parent and would like your child to be honoured during the memorial service, please fill in the form below.

Our next support group workshop for those who have lost a child suddenly and unexpectedly will be held on Saturday, January 18th from 10am to noon. This is a safe and beautiful space for sharing, listening, and engaging in a therapeutic art activity (should you choose). Snacks and refreshments are provided.
