One Voice Chorus Calgary

One Voice Chorus Calgary One Voice Chorus is a mixed-voice chorus for 2SLGBTQIA+ singers and their allies. We produce two public concert events each season.

Our activities focus on creating community and creating music. One Voice Chorus (OVC) is a dynamic, auditioned mixed-voice ensemble for 2SLGBTQIA+ singers and their straight allies, with a repertoire as diverse as its membership. Founded in September 2011 by Artistic Director Jane Perry and soprano Cora Castle, the choir has built a full roster of talented singers and a large fan base. Now in its

tenth season, OVC has many full-length concerts and numerous community appearances to its name. OVC strives to make a meaningful contribution to the greater community in Calgary through musical excellence and to serve as a beacon for Calgary’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
