GhostRiver Rediscovery Ghost River Rediscovery Society is a non-profit organization that offers outdoor and cultural education programs based on Aboriginal traditions and values.

Serving the urban Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal community, GRR offers traditional and cultural-based indoor and outdoor leadership programming year round. By educating and engaging youth both on the land and in urban settings, GRR programs and services provide opportunities for youth to develop and learn new skills; offe

ring guidance as they obtain a strong sense of self and connection to peers and cultural leaders. Some of the key Rediscovery objectives are as follows:

• Increasing cross-cultural understanding of diversity and inclusion;
• Passion-based learning experiences which guide participants in life and career planning;
• Encouraging sharing;
• Developing key mentorship relationships and role modelling;
• Finding a voice;
• Reconnecting youth with Elders and strengthening intergenerational learning;
• Creating personal achievements and success;
• Enhancing healthy living;
• Developing leadership skills and abilities, and;
• Reconnecting youth to teachings of the natural world
