We are thrilled to welcome Mallika Guha as the HR Manager for the 1000 Seeds Team at RISEC Community Foundation. Based in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, Mallika brings a wealth of experience and a diverse skill set to our organization. Her ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate warmly and effectively with people makes her a valuable addition to our team. Known for her sense of responsibility, organization, and strategic thinking, Mallika is well-equipped to manage our HR operations with efficiency and care.

Mallika’s journey in human resources began with her roles as an HR Executive at Factorial Solutions in Gurgaon and Adroit Consultants in New Delhi. During her tenure, she excelled in recruitment coordination with corporate clients in the Fintech industry, sourcing and screening resumes, and conducting mock interviews to prepare candidates for their roles. One of her notable achievements was building a candidate relationship management database, which served as a ready talent pool for future positions.

We are thrilled to announce the latest addition to our RISEC Community Foundation team, Olivia Chenier, who joins us as a Magazine Designer for Canadian Horizons. Olivia brings a rich blend of design expertise, creative vision, and practical experience that will be instrumental in enhancing the visual appeal and overall impact of our magazine.

Olivia holds a Graphic Design Diploma from New Brunswick Community College and has further honed her skills through various courses at the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design and LinkedIn Learning. Her educational background has provided her with a solid foundation in graphic design principles, which she has effectively applied in her professional roles.

Her most recent experience as a Graphic Design Intern at the Department of National Defense (ALSC) in Oromocto stands out, where she balanced multiple projects and maintained effective communication with clients. Olivia demonstrated proficiency in operating large-format printers and vinyl plotters, contributing to high-quality product outputs. Her ability to thrive in both collaborative and independent work settings showcases her adaptability and self-reliance. Notably, she received a letter of congratulations from the commandant for a successful project for the CFNOC hull in Ottawa.
