Get in on the HYTES online auction before it ends!

HYTES (Helping Youth Through Education Scholarships) is a registered Canadian charity. We raise money in Canada to provide high school education to youth in Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia and Guatemala. An amazing 88 percent on all funds raised goes directly to our partner schools to pay for fees.

In Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia, students have returned to in-person classes this year. Guatemala students are still currently online.

Some pictures of students returning to school in one of our HYTES-sponsored schools in Kenya (Lambwe).

In Kenya, schools closed in March, 2020 and just reopened in October, 2020.

Our most recent update from Kenya: Form 4 terms have been moved forward so they may get to write their national exams in April 2021. Form 3 and Form 2 will open if all goes well with Form 4.

Though we are in different areas of the world, the pandemic has affected everyone in one way or another. We thank you all so much for your support which allows us to continue to help as many students as possible in completing their secondary education for a better life. Stay safe everyone.
