AFP Calgary & Area Chapter AFP Calgary & Area Chapter - founded in 1996 - has nearly 300 active members in Calgary who are dedicated to ethical fundraising to support philanthropy.

Active AFP members, who serve as development directors, fundraising consultants, grant writers, volunteer fundraisers, foundation executive and other individuals dedicated to fundraising and philanthropy. AFP Calgary & Area has regular scheduled lunch meeting featuring local speakers and topic relevant to your every day work. The chapter also offers education and networking opportunities such as B

AFP Calgary & Area serves the city of Calgary along with communities in southern Alberta. The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) represents nearly 30,000 members in more than 200 chapters throughout the world. AFP works to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs. The association fosters development and growth of fundraising professionals and promotes high ethical standards in the fundraising profession.
