Another Giddy Up Aggie Days in the books 🌾

Before Aggie Days opens to the public, our committee is hard at work providing an inclusive and accessible agriculture experience for children with developmental disabilities. Topped with a full pancake breakfast buffet, we are so glad our Giddy Up families could join us on such a beautiful day - and who doesn’t love meeting some furry friends!

Huge thank you to the volunteers for your help today. We couldn’t do it without you!

Visiting your feed this Monday is our 1976 Royalty 👑

Queen Cindy, Princess Wynne, and Princess Carol were the Royal faces of the 50 years ago!

One of our favourite things about visiting old photos is seeing how style changes through the years 🤠 Though the hats and crowns look a little different now, what hasn’t changed is the determination, hard work, and passion of the ambassadors who wear them.

To kick off a year of celebrating our 80th Anniversary, we’re jumping back in time with this article from 1983, featuring many familiar faces from our sisterhood! We love looking back on the history of the Royalty contest and program - while some things have changed, our passion for representing Calgary has always been at the core of wearing the crown 👑
