📢 ZERO FOOD WASTE CALGARY — EXECUTIVE APPLICATIONS OPEN! 🌱

Are you passionate about food waste reduction, sustainability, community building, and making a difference in Calgary?

Zero Food Waste Calgary is now accepting applications for three executive positions:

đź‘‘ President
Help lead the organization, set our direction, coordinate the executive team, and represent Zero Food Waste Calgary in the community.

đź“… Events Director
Plan and coordinate engaging events, workshops, campaigns, and community initiatives that bring people together around food waste reduction.

🤝 Vice-President
Support the President and executive team while helping coordinate projects, partnerships, and organizational initiatives.

✨ Who we’re looking for:
• Passionate and motivated individuals
• Strong communicators and team players
• People interested in sustainability and food waste reduction
• Students and community members are welcome
• Previous leadership experience is an asset, but not required

This is a great opportunity to build leadership experience, meet like-minded people, contribute to Calgary’s sustainability community, and help create meaningful change. 🌎

What happens when surplus food meets community care? 🍽️♻️
One month ago, the Zero Food Waste Fiesta brought together in partnership with YYC Helping Homeless rescued food from local restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores to serve those in need.
This monthly gathering showed how reducing food waste and supporting our neighbours experiencing food insecurity can go hand in hand.

Tomorrow’s the day! 🎉

Join us for our Zero Food Waste Fiesta — an event bringing rescued food and warm meals to people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity.

We’re still looking for a few volunteers to help make it happen — setting up, serving food, and supporting guests.
