We are happy to support the Skeena Indian Association as they host their Grand Diwali Celebration 2025 on October 25th at Thornhill Community Centre.
This beautiful celebration will include Puja, cultural performances, and a traditional Indian dinner — free for everyone with pre-booking.
As one of the largest Indian community networks in Canada, we take pride in amplifying initiatives that keep our culture alive, not only in major cities but also in regions like Skeena.
What makes this event even more special is that it is being organized without charging the community, without depending on public funds, donations, or government grants (which is taxpayers’ money) — but purely as an act of seva (selfless service).
The Skeena Indian Association brings together people from across India, from every state and every religion — whether from Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra, Punjab, Gujarat, Maharashtra — and especially from Kerala, where the Onam festival comes from, the most literate state in India.
✨ This is the real INDIA — not divided into North, South, East, or West — but one INDIA, united in culture, language, and tradition. ✨
We encourage our members with friends or family in northern BC to share this event and support Skeena Indian Association’s efforts.
