We’re excited to announce an upcoming Level 1 UCVA Referee Course

December 20, 2025 | 1:00 – 2:30 PM

Course Cost: $45 (includes whistle + badge)
- 90-minutes
- Only 40 spots available
- Ages 16+ (Parents, coaches & players welcome!)

(After completion, a minimum of 3 (paid) evaluated matches is required for full certification)

We will be running a Level 1 UCVA Referee course on the following dates.
-November 16 1:00-2:30 PM (Calgary)

Only 40 Spots Per Class.

The course is 90 minutes and will be run by a UCVA level 3 ref. Anyone looking to ref this upcoming season and does not currently have any referee credentials with any other PSO or NSO can take this course.

The course cost is $45 and this includes
-A Whistle
-A Badge
-The Course

This is open to parents, coaches, and players who are 16 and older.

This year we will be running lots of tournaments in Calgary and you will be utilized a fair bit. So if you are looking for a fun part time job this might be the ticket.

With the upcoming club season we have over 30 tournaments we need the “best of the best” refs for. If you are a certified ref in any other association we are grandfathering FREE your credentials over to UCVA. Here are three reasons why you should join the UCVA to referee. . . . .
1. Free transfer local = level 1, provincial= level 2, regional = level 3 etc etc. *Must have criminal record check within 3 years through Sterling & show proof that you are a registered referee within the other association. . . .
2. No “fees” off your pay is taken. . . .
3. Higher pay per match . . .
