Nigerian Canadian Association of Calgary (NCAC)

Nigerian Canadian Association of Calgary (NCAC) The Nigerian-Canadian Association of Calgary is a non-profit and non- political association

Our Goals

To exhibit and promote, in a discrete and un-obstructive manner, those aspects of Nigerian culture that would contribute positively to the Canadian Cultural Mosaic. To encourage a positive environment where members can get together from time to time for social and multicultural dialogue and interaction. To provide a cultural connection and identity, as needed, for children of Nigerian parentage and any other. To create a network for rendering reasonable and acceptable assistance, as deemed fit by the Association, to members who may require support from time to time. To act as the focal point of a network that would function for the social and economic benefit of its members in particular and society in general.

🇳🇬 HAPPY NIGERIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY! 🇳🇬

Today, we celebrate the land we call home, the people who make it great, and the rich culture, resilience, and spirit that unite us as Nigerians.

As we mark another year of independence, we honour the sacrifices of those who paved the way and celebrate the strength, courage, and unwavering hope of the Nigerian people.

To every Nigerian in our community and across the world, may we continue to carry our heritage with pride, support one another, and contribute meaningfully towards building a nation where everyone can thrive.

Though we may live across borders, Nigeria will always remain a part of who we are. Our roots, our culture, our values, and our shared dreams connect us.

May Nigeria continue to grow in peace, unity, prosperity, and endless possibilities.

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria! 💚🤍💚

With pride and warm wishes,
Nigerian Canadian Association of Calgary (NCAC)

Happy Easter to the NCAC Family!

On behalf of the Nigerian Canadian Association of Calgary, we wish all our members, elders, and youth a joyful and blessed Easter celebration.

Easter is a significant season of reflection, hope, and renewal. As we gather in our homes and across our community to celebrate the triumph of light and life, let us also celebrate the strength of our shared heritage and the bonds that unite us here in Calgary.

Just as spring brings new life to our city, may this season bring Renewal, Community and Peace.

Whether you are attending service, sharing a meal with loved ones, or simply enjoying the long weekend, we hope your holiday is filled with the warmth of friendship and the joy of the season.

Happy Easter! E ku Odun Isegun! Ista Oma! Barka da Ista! Happy Easter to all of una! Happy Celebration!
