From a personal goal to a fundraising movement for acquired brain injury survivors! 🚴

Ross Gilker, founder of Cycle for Survivors, is taking us back to where it all began. Formerly known as Cycle Therapy, the fundraiser has grown over the years while continuing to support ARBI and individuals living with acquired brain injury. In this video, Ross shares the story behind its beginnings, how the event has grown, and the community that has helped shape it into what it is today.

Whether you ride, volunteer, sponsor, donate, or help spread the word, your involvement helps support ARBI and the work we do (https://www.arbi.ca/news-and-events/cycle-for-survivors-2026/)

Fridays are for music therapy! 🎶💜

Each week, our clients come together for a group music therapy session focused on connection, creativity and self-expression. Through music, clients can connect with one another, build confidence, and experience the many benefits of making music together. 🧠

Music therapy is offered twice a week by JB Music Therapy. Wednesdays are dedicated to individual sessions, while Fridays bring clients together through group programming and the joy of making music as a community. ✨

You can help support creative programs like music therapy by donating at https://www.arbi.ca/donate. 💚

A little extra support comes with four paws. 🐾💙

We’re always excited when our friends from PALS visit ARBI! These special visits bring smiles, connection and moments of joy for our clients, caregivers, staff and volunteers.✨

PALS visits provide opportunities for comfort, companionship and meaningful engagement, creating moments that brighten our days and remind us that rehabilitation is about more than therapy.

Thank you to PALS for bringing so much happiness to ARBI! 🐶

Every milestone deserves to be celebrated. 🧠

We recently celebrated our client, Larry, as he completed his rehabilitation program at ARBI.

To recognize this moment, our staff and Larry's family shared what they admire most about him and the journey they've witnessed. From determination to kindness, their messages are a reminder that rehabilitation is about so much more than recovery. It's about the people beside you every step of the way.

Thank you to Larry and his family for allowing us to be part of their journey. Congratulations on this incredible milestone. 💜

Rehabilitation is better together. 🧠💪

At ARBI, our Rehab Group Session brings participants together for physical and cognitive programming that supports recovery, skill-building and connection.

Our physical group focuses on movement, strength, coordination, and function. Our new social cognitive group, launched this July, focuses on skills like memory, attention, problem solving, and communication. During each 1.5 hour session, participants spend time in both groups, supporting recovery through a balanced approach to physical and cognitive rehabilitation. 💚

Help us continue providing programs that support recovery and community by donating today at https://www.arbi.ca/donate

July Recap: ARBI's Stampede Breakfast 🤠

As July comes to a close, we're looking back on one of our favourite mornings of the summer: our annual Stampede Breakfast! 🥞

It was wonderful to bring clients, families, volunteers, staff, sponsors, and community members together over pancakes, live entertainment, conversations, and plenty of smiles.✨

ARBI’s mission to support individuals and families affected by acquired brain injuries wouldn’t be possible without this incredible community. Thank you to everyone who helped make our Stampede Breakfast a success! 💙

A special thank you to Nomadic Studio Photography for beautifully capturing the spirit of the morning. 📷⭐

We can't wait to do it all again next year! Until then, stay connected through our website (https://www.arbi.ca/) so you don't miss out on our next community event! 🧠
