POSON SIL PROGRAM INVITATION 🌸❤️

On this sacred Poson season, let us come together to reflect on the timeless teachings of the Buddha and cultivate peace, compassion, and wisdom in our lives.

The Sri Lankan Buddhist Society Calgary warmly invites you and your family to participate in our Poson Sil Program.

☸️Saturday, June 27
☸️Temple Premises

Poson commemorates the arrival of Buddhism in Sri Lanka and reminds us of the importance of spiritual growth, generosity, and mindfulness. We invite devotees of all ages to join us for a day of observing Sil, listening to Dhamma, meditation, and meritorious activities.

🚗 To help manage parking and support our community spirit, we kindly encourage everyone to carpool whenever possible.

🚙 Please use the back parking pad for drop-offs and pick-ups to ensure smooth traffic flow and minimize congestion around the temple entrance.

May the blessings of the Triple Gem guide you and your loved ones toward happiness, peace, and well-being.

The Sri Lankan Buddhist Society Calgary warmly invites you, your family, and friends to join us for a beautiful evening of devotion, culture, and community as we commemorate the arrival of Buddhism in Sri Lanka.

We are truly grateful for the wonderful success of our Children’s Sil Program held at the Ehipassiko Buddhist Meditation Center. ❤️🙏

It was heartwarming to see so many young children come together to learn, practice, and experience the teachings of the Buddha in a peaceful and joyful environment.

A sincere thank you to all the parents, volunteers, and supporters who helped make this program meaningful and memorable for the children. Seeing the younger generation connect with Buddhist values, mindfulness, kindness, and culture brings great happiness and hope to our community.🌸

We warmly invite more children, youth, families, and community members to join our future programs and events. Together, let us continue to build a strong, compassionate, and connected community rooted in Dhamma.☸️

The Sri Lankan Buddhist Society Calgary has planned a Children's Sil Program.

☸️Date: Sunday, June 7
☸️Time: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
☸️Location: Temple Premises

Carpooling encouraged

A wonderful opportunity for children to learn and practice the teachings of the Buddha through:

✨ Meditation
✨ Dhamma Lessons
✨ Buddhist Activities
✨ Chanting and Blessings

Children are encouraged to wear white attire.
All are welcome. We look forward to spending a meaningful and joyful morning together in Dhamma.

Our hearts are completely full after a beautiful Vesak weekend.☸️❤️

​From the spiritual serenity of the Sath Budu Wandana lines of devotion to the high energy of the Paratha Dansala, it was a memorable celebration from start to finish!

A huge shoutout to the incredible team, the donors, and the volunteers who made the Dansala such a massive hit—it was amazing to see everyone enjoying it! 🥞🙏

​Events like this are only possible because of our wonderful community. Thank you for bringing your energy, help, and devotion to make this Vesak so special.
