Tennis Lessons are scheduled to start on May 6th. We are almost completely sold out, but we have a few places left in the intermediate adult lessons. If you have ever played tennis and would like to improve on your skills, this is an excellent opportunity. Give us a call at 403-256-0550 and we will sign you up.

Due to today's snowfall the Park and office is closed. Staff will continue to clear snow and try to keep ahead of the accumulation.
Normal operations will resume tomorrow.

On Friday, April 10th, members of the Calgary Fire Department Water Rescue Unit will be on site conducting ice/water rescue exercises.
So, if you happen to be driving past the lake and notice CFD emergency units in the parking lot, there is not an incident but rather training CFD members.

The Easter bunny has made his special visit and the eggs are all ready for the children to find.

The hunt will start promptly at 1:00. Arrive early so you can be in your area when the hunt starts.

While you are here, make sure to enter the bunny hunt contest. The prizes are on display and look awesome.

If you are registered, please note the following;
1. Please be on time. The hunt starts promptly at 1pm. Please give yourself time to get to your area on time .
2. You do not need to bring a basket. You will be given an Easter bag.

We are super excited to see everyone! This event will proceed rain, snow or shine !

SPRING TENNIS LESSONS

Midnapore Lake is pleased to be able to provide Spring tennis lessons. Classes are offered to MIDNAPORE LAKE MEMBERS ONLY. Class sizes are limited to 8 per class.

1. First Tennis Lessons (ages 5 to 7 years old). This is an introduction to Tennis.

Classes will be May 6th to June 10th. The sessions are 1 hour in length and run every Wednesday evening from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

The cost of enrolment is $95.00. (no tax)

2. Tennis for Kids (ages 8 to 11 years old).

Classes will be May 6th to June 10th. The sessions are 1 hour in length and run every Wednesday evening from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

The cost of enrolment is $95.00. (no tax)

3. Tennis for Teens (ages 12+)

Classes will be May 6th to June 10th. The sessions are 1 hour in length and run every Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The cost of enrolment is $95.00. (plus tax) = $99.75

4. Adult Tennis (beginner)

Classes will be May 6th to June 10th. The sessions are 1 hour in length and run every Wednesday evening from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The cost of enrolment is $95.00. (plus tax) = $99.75

5. Adult Tennis (intermediate)

Classes will be May 6th to June 10th. The sessions are 1 hour in length and run every Wednesday evening from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The cost of enrolment is $95.00. (plus tax) = $99.75

All participants must be dressed for the weather. Classes will only be cancelled if the courts are unplayable. In the event a class needs to be cancelled due to the weather, a make-up class will be scheduled. Please note that all classes for this year are on Wednesday nights.

Please make sure you bring your own water bottle.

REGISTRATION FOR THE EASTER EGG HUNT IS NOW OPEN FOR NON-MEMBER GUESTS

BUNNY HUNT STARTS TODAY AT 5:00 PM

Registration for the Easter Egg Hunt is now open to non-member guests.

Please remember that a member must sign in their guests and be in the park with their guests at all times. There are a very limited number of spaces still available. The cost for non-members is $5.00 per child. The event is for children 10 years of age and younger. Children must be pre-registered.

BUNNY HUNT

Starting at 5:00 today, we will be starting the Bunny Hunt.

1.Hunt for the wooden bunnies hidden through out the park.

2.There are 4 bunnies, 2 with purple eggs and 2 with green eggs.

3.Take your picture with the bunny with the purple egg, to enter a contest to win an Easter basket for a child (under 18)

4.Take your picture with the bunny with the green egg, to enter a contest to win an Easter basket for an adult. (18 and over)

5.You must follow the MidnaporeLake Instagram page.

6.Preferred method to enter: Post the picture on your Instagram page and tag .

7.If you have a private Instagram account and cannot enter by posting with the hashtag, you can enter by email to [email protected] or by using Facebook messenger.

8.Contest is open from March 23rd to April 6th.

9.Contest winners will be announced on the week of April 6th.

10.You can enter as many times as you would like (unique pictures).

11.Contest is open to everyone (Midnapore Lake members and their guests).
