Our mandate is to act as a liaison between the various Swiss Clubs and to keep the membership informed about ongoing activities. We publish a quarterly newsletter and maintain a website that is updated to reflect the current events

On Friday, January 9, 2026, Switzerland will observe a National Day of Mourning in memory of the victims of the tragic fire in Crans-Montana.

An official ceremony will be held in Valais, and church bells will ring throughout Switzerland at 2:00 p.m. local time. At the Consulate General of Switzerland in Vancouver, we join Switzerland in remembering all those who lost their lives and in expressing solidarity with everyone affected by this tragedy. Our team will observe a moment of silence this Friday.

We are grateful for the many messages of compassion we have received from the local communities following this tragic event.
