Happy Mother’s Day!

We are grateful for the gift of our Mothers.

May all Mothers look up the Blessed Virgin Mary as the prime example of motherhood. May their children treat them as Jesus treated Mary.

We recently had a fun activity to build camaraderie. The Knights played with Nerf Blasters which built virtue through teamwork, cooperation and helped foster growth as a person.

Recently at the Diocesan Vocations Rally, one of our Knights of the Altar was privileged to be able to serve Mass with the Seminarians of the Diocese of Calgary.

Thanks to the Serra Club of Calgary organizing this amazing opportunity.

Many impactful insights were also learned the rest of the day at this rally!

The Knights of the Altar recently learned about Jesus’ True Presence in the Eucharist!

The boys also got to see the newly acquired relics of Blessed Carlo Acutis. These relics were acquired in Rome by Fr. Anthony Sortino LC on the Grade 12 Italy Pilgrimage which 2 Knights of the Altar were privileged to be able to attend.

Our Church is facing a crisis of vocations - for both priesthood and religious life. Together, how can we strengthen the future of the Church?

Hear from Dr. Ryan Topping, who will present a report on “Meet Our New Priests,” and gain insights from Fr. Cristino Bouvette, Fr. Santiago Torres, the Seeds of the Word community, Cedric and Greta De Souza, and Bishop William McGrattan. Enjoy a free lunch, and hear from a diverse panel of religious sisters and priests from all across the Diocese.

Through the grace of God, the future of the Church depends on us all. Bring as many people as you can. Lunch is free. When: Sun, Apr 21, from 11 am to 3:30 pm.
