Kiwanis Clubs of Calgary and Area Kiwanis is a global service organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and building community

The Kiwanis legacy of service in Calgary began in 1919 and now includes 5 adult clubs, two high school youth leadership Key clubs, two university age Circle K International service clubs and an Aktion club for adults living with disabilities. Clubs in Airdrie, Olds and Red Deer make up the balance of the Calgary District

Kiwanis Calgary Northmount and Soup Sisters partnered earlier in the year to volunteer and make 4 types of homemade soup in a commercial kitchen that is then provided to those in need. (Social agencies, street kids, families in need) to help battle in

THAT NIGHT WE:
Produced 85 litres of great homemade soup
Enjoyed the "fruits of our labour" as we packaged and labelled the soup.
A great social time
The soup was delivered the next day to an agency supporting "street kids"
