On March 29, 2026, several canine 4H clubs gathered in Millarville for an engaging and enjoyable experience. Members participated in three hours of activities, including agility courses, obedience training, and dog-related quizzes.
At the conclusion of the event, participants received a clicker, dog treats, a participation certificate, and several additional items.
As a junior dog trainer, I thoroughly enjoyed this activity. It provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen the bond with my dog, learn new skills, and further develop my handling abilities.
We are fortunate to have access to such well-organized events led by professional and experienced trainers. We look forward to participating in more educational and enjoyable events like this in the future.

Great training session at Marvel Dog Training Academy last weekend! Everyone learned something new and had a good agility practice. Thank you to the amazing trainer - Kim! For those who couldn’t attend, we hope to do another clinic in the New Year.

We’re running a Purdy’s Chocolates Christmas Fundraiser — the sweetest way to support local youth and their dogs! 🐾

Successful weekend for the Club! Had a meeting with elections on Friday followed by a Halloween party - baking, carving pumpkins and enjoying delicious treats! Saturday morning was warm and sunny - we practised heeling, long sit and down stay, and also weaves.

This year the maze is a highland cow. It takes about an h to complete the two sections of the maze. Lots more to do too.

We want to welcome Anita who will be taking over the FB page this year as our two members Nicolas and Felix are joining a brand new club Bottrel Outlaws 4H Club and leader Isabelle was the one running this page all this time. We wish them all the best and plan to collaborate on canine projects/events.

Thanks to the members that came out tonight for the meet and greet. We are glad to see so many returning faces.

Ou club is open to new members joining.
The main focus for now is canine 🐕‍🦺🐶🐾 but a lifeskills/explore 4H 🧭 was also discussed tonight. So don't have a dog...you can still join a project.
