This outdoor club for those over 55 goes most fridays by bus to hike or snowshoe in the mountains. Snowshoeing and skiing is only on groomed or trackset trails and there are very few skiers. Email www.ourclub.ca/skrastins for more info. You need three trips as a guest before you can become a member. There may be in town meets in spring and fall when the hiking and snowshoeing is not good. Contact the club by email or phone for a complete list of rules and regulations before deciding. If there are not enough people signed up for your level then you will be assigned to a slower group. You may also be expected to be a group leader - no experience necessary.
