Image Story
I almost missed this photograph in Antarctica. My gear was already packed in the dry bag for the final zodiac ride back to the ship. The crew was urging me to hurry when I noticed a lone
penguin pacing at the edge of the iceberg, ready to dive. There was no time to think. I tore the bag open, grabbed the camera, and relied purely on instinct. I captured a single frame - just before the penguin dove into the water. Great images can appear without warning. Be prepared, be present, and ready to respond,
because every photograph is a fragment of time that will never return.

Image Story
I was covering the Hawaiian Golf Open, and on a free day, I went to the Banzal Pipeline, on O'ahu's North Shore, to cover the Pipe Pro surfing competition. After the competition, the light began to change for the better, and I continued photographing surfers until after sunset as they chased the breaking waves down the shore. For me, photography has always been about pushing the boundaries of what we can capture under challenging conditions.

Shooting in the Alberta Badlands always feels like stepping onto another planet. I brought my rone to capture the dramatic landscape from above, showcasing the dramatic colours and textures of the land. It was pure chaos flying with the gusts of wind and missing controller pieces, but somehow, it worked. The drone held steady just long enough to frame the couple perfectly against the winding hoodoos and shadows. The result? One of my favourite images to date. It's bold, vibrant, and unlike anything l've seen done before in an engagement portrait!

Image Story
This minimalist photograph captures the graceful silhouette of an acoustic guitar, illuminated by a single, delicate line of golden light. The composition is meant to emphasize the instruments delicate curves, and the quiet power of its form - music reduced to its purest essence: line, shape and shadow. The use of negative space draws the viewer into a meditative stillness, inviting reflection on the relationship between sound and silence, light and darkness, presence and absence.

This work reimagines a cluster of wild oyster mushrooms through the art of light painting, transforming a natural subject into a luminous visual narrative. By carefully directing and layering the light, I sought to reveal the intricate beauty within these organic forms-creating the illusion that they emit their own inner glow. Images were focus stacked in Photoshop and the result is an image that bridges nature and imagination.

It was early morning at Toronto's R.C. Harris Water Treatment Plant nicknamed The Palace of Purification one of my favourite places to photograph. Perched above Lake Ontario, its tower watched over the city like a relic from another era.
