YSCA aims to develop spirit of sports, language and cultural upliftment in the age group 5 to 13. This origination believes that in everyone’s life, this age is very important as one connects to the outside world. Keeping these objectives in mind, YSCA has planned following activities .
Youngistan sport and cultural association conducts camps during summer vacations where the children of the south Asian families take part in large number. The organization is of the view that the first generation of this brotherhood, had to struggle a lot in order to establish their base and settle in Canada.
This kind of atmosphere leads to children of these parents sitting idle at home during summer vacations, thus basically desiring them of the benefits of staying outside.
This summer camp forces these children to come out to explore more useful things of life alongwith learning new aspects.
Some of the parents in the process of settling down, do not have enough sources to spend on children expenses. But Youngistan have priced thse camps at rsoaneb prices so that they can afford t sent heri kids. This camp help improve one’ overlal personality.
In the year 2017, the camp was held at Khalsa school, Calgary from July 9 to 15. As manyas 106 children of age groups 5-13 took part. The camp had meditaion class, bhangra, art and craft, field hockey, soccer and basketball alonwgith other regular activities.
