Yesterday marked Jasmine Almaguer Sheldrick’s final day at DJD as she prepares for her next adventure.

Over the past five years, Jasmine has made a lasting impact on our organization and community through her work as our Administrative Assistant & Box Office Coordinator, and most recently as our Youth Training Program Registrar.

Beyond her administrative work, Jasmine has also shared her love of dance directly with our community as a teacher at DJD, bringing her energy, care and personality into the studio.

If you’ve called the box office, stopped by the front desk, registered for a class, attended a show, taken a class with Jasmine, or been part of our Youth Training Program, there’s a good chance she has helped make your experience at DJD a little smoother, warmer and more welcoming.

She has also brought plenty of personality to life around the Dance Centre over the years, including more than a few line dancing moments. IYKYK. 🤠

Jasmine, thank you for five years of care, hard work, laughter and everything you’ve brought to DJD. We will miss you dearly and are wishing you all the best in this next chapter. 💛

And naturally… we couldn’t let her leave without one last Jazz Walk. ✨
