YYC Kiwanis Club The Diversity Cup has run for the past 14 years and reaches out to youth that do not ordinarily have an opportunity to play organized sports.

More than 800 youth bring their families out to this annual event hosted by the the Kiwanis Clubs of Calgary, partnered with Kidsport and the Calgary Police Service Diversity Resource Unit. The demand for the event has been incredible with coaches indicating a desire to register for the event as they leave the fields! The Kiwanis Diversity Cup takes place yearly at the Forest Lawn fields and runs

from 9am until approximately 5 pm each day. Registered teams to the tournament receive balls and shin guards and the schools that have receive this equipment keep it as a gift from Kiwanis & KidSport with the hope that this will encourage them to continue their participation in team sports and learn the valuable lessons that come from those experiences.

The Diversity Cup has been a long running tradition for the last 14 years and is looking forward to another successful year!

Thank you to all the schools, coaches, KidSport Calgary and Calgary Police Service. The tradition continues this weekend because of you!!
