Today on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, Our Club stands with Indigenous communities across our nation to honor the survivors, families, and children affected by the residential school system.

As an organization dedicated to serving children and building stronger communities, we recognize that true service begins with listening, learning, and acknowledging history. Every child matters! Past, Present, and Future.

We encourage our members and neighbors to take time today to:

- Wear orange to honor survivors and remember those who never made it home.

- Read the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's 94 Calls to Action.

- Support local Indigenous-led organizations and voices.

Together, we can turn remembrance into meaningful action for a better future for all children. 🧡

🚴 Kids are back in school and back on two wheels—let’s keep them safe! 🚴

With school back in session, many students in our community are riding their bikes to and from school every day. As drivers, we all play a vital role in keeping our streets safe.

Here are a few quick tips to protect our young cyclists:

Slow Down: Adhere strictly to school zone speed limits and stay alert in residential areas.

Check Your Blinds: Always double-check blind spots and mirrors before turning or pulling out from a curb.

Give Space: Allow at least 3 feet of space when passing a cyclist on the road.

Expect the Unexpected: Children can make sudden turns or stops—stay focused and put away distractions.

Let’s work together to make this school year safe and bright for every student. Share this post to spread the word! 💛
