O2 is preparing a revised Land Use Application for 2224-2240 34th Avenue SW. The proposed development will enable a mixed-use building with reduced building height and density than
the original proposal.

Drop in between 5-7PM on Tuesday, June 16 at the Marda Loop Communities Association - Lower Hall (enter on the side of the volleyball courts)

Silent Auction for Indulge is now LIVE! Get a sneak peek of all the goodies before our event on Saturday, June 6 at . We have so many good packages to be won from spa facials, to local restaurant catering packages, to a decadent chocolate basket!

Marda Loop is blooming thanks to the incredible work of Community Crop! 🌱🌼

Join Kim, Vice President of Community Crop, as she takes us on a tour of the beautiful South Calgary Park garden space.

Community Crop manages three thriving allotment gardens:
📍 South Calgary Park — 3130 16 St SW
📍 Currie Booster — 3410 16 St SW
📍 Alternative High — 5003 20 St SW (1 garden spot still available!)

Beyond the allotment gardens, dedicated volunteers also care for our perennial garden, shade garden, and fruit orchard — helping make Marda Loop greener, healthier, and more vibrant for everyone.

Please remember: the vegetables, flowers, and plants in the allotment gardens are lovingly grown by individual gardeners, so please enjoy them with your eyes only! If you’re interested in plants or getting involved, contact the team at [email protected].

For the next two weeks, visit the gardens and take part in their fundraiser plant hunt! Bring a picnic, explore the space, and enjoy watching the gardens come to life. 🌸☀️

Construction on our upper hall has started but you still have the opportunity to book your next event with us! Our Lower Hall has tons of space for your class wrap up, end of season party, yoga classes, art classes, the world is your oyster in our hall!

⛸️ The rink is OPEN again as of this evening!

Thank you to everyone for staying off the ice during the warm stretch. We hope you enjoyed the beautiful Chinook weather, now it’s time to lace up those skates again!

The warmer temperatures helped smooth things out, and with water restrictions lifted, Frederic and our amazing volunteers have been able to flood the rink a few times. The ice is looking pristine and ready for skating.
