If you live in Calgary, reinforcement work on the Bearspaw South Feeder Main began on March 9. Citywide water restrictions will be in effect for approximately four weeks. We encourage everyone to do their part to share conservation messages with their networks.

Even if you live outside of Calgary, everyone can learn about the importance of clean water and the collective power of water conservation efforts. Check out the educational resources that the City of Calgary has prepared, including seasonal water conservation bingo cards.

ACEE is thrilled to launch the updated "Alberta Environmental Laws 101" resource in partnership with The Environmental Law Centre (Alberta).

Designed with secondary educators in mind, each of the 4 curriculum-connected lesson plans are ready to use, complete with a slide deck, lesson plan, and supplementary materials. This collaboration was enabled through the generous support of the Calgary Foundation and The Edmonton Foundation Community Grant. This initiative aims to reach hundreds of students and educators across Alberta, fostering a deeper understanding of environmental law and its relevance to current events.
