When does the season run?

Fall Session: September 9 (Level 2/3) and September 10 (Rookies/Level1) 2026 to January 28, 2027
Spring Session: February 3/4, 2027 to June 24, 2027

When are practices?

Level 2/3: Wednesdays 6:00 to 7:00 pm (Note, Scrimmages will begin in November and will run until 7:30pm on the 1st week of the month)
Rookies/Level 1: Thursdays 6:00 to 7:00 pm

This year, we did something a little different for our coaches’ gifts! 🎉
Each coach received a custom designed T-shirt featuring their derby name! A small token of our appreciation for everything they do.

A huge thank you goes out to all of our coaches for the time, energy, and dedication you put into teaching and inspiring our young skaters. Your hard work, patience, and commitment help make our league stronger every season.

A very special shout-out to our Head Coaches, Squid and Moonie. We couldn’t have done it without you!

As the season comes to a close, we’d like to wish our aging-out players all the best as they move on from our junior league.

Best of luck to Broken Axle, Havoc, Violet Venom, Grease Lightning, and Ditzy. Thank you for your dedication, hard work, and the memories you’ve created both on and off the track.

We wish each of you continued success in your roller derby journey and in all that life has in store. You have been an important part of our team, and you will be greatly missed.

The weather cooperated, making for a fantastic Year-End Party! ☀️🎉
We had an amazing turnout, with approximately 80 players, coaches, and family members joining us to celebrate another great season. Everyone enjoyed pizza, treats, fun games, and plenty of laughs.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the day such a success. We appreciate all the support throughout the season and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Congratulations are in order for our own Grease Lightning on earning a spot on Team Canada! 🇨🇦 Liv Team Canada Jr Roller Derby

She will be representing our country in Scotland in July 2027, as one of two teams selected to compete.

As she prepares for this exciting opportunity, she will also be relocating to Lethbridge next season to pursue her post-secondary education.

We wish you all the best in this next chapter. Thank you for everything you’ve brought to our team—you’ll be greatly missed, but we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way. Congratulations, Grease! 💙🇨🇦

What an AMAZING weekend of derby!! The effort of the skaters, coaches, volunteers, family, friends, spectators should not go unnoticed! Our skaters have been preparing for this weekend and did an AMAZING job and represented CJRD very well! Congratulations to everyone on 3 awesome games!! Giant shout out to for hosting such a great tournament! And lastly a huge thank you goes out to all the Juniors coaches, ESPECIALLY ‼️
