Whether you've participated as a seller, a buyer, a browser or a bystander, we want to hear your thoughts about this annual event.

DUMP DAY STARTS NOW in the Inglewood Wildlands parking lot, 2405 9th Ave SE!

Here's a reminder of all the services provided and some tips to make it a safe and efficient day for everyone.

And remember, leave your AC units, car seats, chemicals, glass, household recycling, mattresses, paint, tires and railroad ties at home. We don't accept those items.

And if you need a hand getting your load to the dump site, give the ICA a call at 403-264-3835, pick ups will be scheduled as time allows.

Sunday plans settled, DUMP DAY/COMMUNITY CLEAN UP

It's time to clean up your yard, donate all those things good quality leftover housewares from the garage sale and that bag of clothes, and finally get rid of that pile of old electronics, container of used up batteries, and dead dishwasher.

Here's everything you need to know about Dump Day...
Date: Sunday, August 16
Time: 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM
Location: Inglewood Wildlands - 2405 9th Ave SE
What:
Donate good quality household items and clothing
Recycle anything with a cord or batteries that is broken or out of date
Recycle batteries
Recycle scrap metal and large appliances
Dispose of household and yard waste that is too big to fit in your black bin

Here are a few items you CANNOT dispose of at Dump Day:
AC units, carseats, chemicals, glass, household recycling, mattresses, tires, paint and railroad ties.

DUMP DAY TRANSPORTATION HELP AVAILABLE

Inglewood, we've got great news. Thanks to our friends and neighbours at Summit Property Group, we've got a driver with a truck and trailer who can provide limited pick ups and deliveries for Inglewood residents who can't get their donations, recycling and waste to Wildlands Park on Sunday.

If you need a hand, fill out the form at the link below or call the ICA (403-264-3835) to book a time. The form closes Saturday evening at 7:00 PM.

Here's some stuff to keep in mind...
You must be home at the time of the pick up.
Pick ups may happen up to 30 minutes before or after your preferred time.
Limited to one pick up per household.

This is a priority service for seniors, those with mobility challenges, and those who can't get a hand from a neighbour with a truck.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - SUNDAY, AUGUST 16

Dump Day is this weekend and the ICA needs 7 more volunteers to fill up our schedule and have enough people to make the event a success. If you are considering using the waste, recycling and donation services available in Sunday or you have used them in the past few years, please consider signing up for a volunteer shift too.

Here is when we need the help...
Sunday, Aug 16
Truck Loader - 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM or 11:15 AM to 2:00 PM
Traffic Control/Info - 8:00 AM to 11:15 AM

Truck loading includes lifting and both roles require standing for the majority of the shifts. Dump Day takes place in the Inglewood Wildlands parking lot.

Inglewood and Ramsay residents, Soccer Night in Inglewood is on at the ICA now until 8 PM.

Come down for an easy hot dog dinner, a cold drink and a frozen treat, bar and food service ends at 7:30.

Join or cheer on the recreational soccer game now in progress or grab some buds and start a scrimmage of your own.
