The Alberta’s Health Statutes Amendment Act, 2025 – better known as Bill 11 – is a grave danger to public health care everywhere in Canada. It violates the Canada Health Act. Not only does it create a two-tier American-style health care system in Alberta, but through trade agreements it will also open the door to the destruction of public medicare in every province in Canada.

Are you a gig worker? Do you represent or support gig workers?

MDOS Consulting is looking for people to join a 90‑minute focus group to learn from real experiences in gig work.

• Pay: $25/hour (minimum 2 hours pay)
• When: Before February 13
• Who can join: Gig workers and gig worker representatives (unions, advocacy groups, etc.)
• Privacy: Participants’ identities and contributions will remain confidential.
• Safe space: Sessions are trauma‑informed, supportive, and judgment‑free.

The focus group is part of an independent study for Employment and Social Development Canada, looking at how fair gig work is across thin pay, conditions, contracts, and management.
