🎂❤️ 300+ BIRTHDAYS • 10 YEARS OF GNFK • ONE BEAUTIFUL CELEBRATION ❤️🎂

What a day we will remember forever!

More than 300 people with September birthdays joined us to celebrate their special day together with Guru Nanak Free Kitchen’s 10-year anniversary. Every birthday guest received a cake to take home and celebrate with their family. 🎂❤️

The most emotional moment was hearing some people say:

“Nobody has ever celebrated my birthday like this before. This is the first time in my life.”

That touched our hearts deeply. ❤️

This was more than cutting cakes. It was about making people feel remembered, valued and part of one community.

Along with the birthday celebration, we continued our free grocery distribution, serving our community as we have done for the past 10 years.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers, donors, supporters and everyone who joined us and made this day so special.

Different backgrounds. Different stories. One community. One celebration. ❤️

Pls give your input what exactly happened. Guys, because of that group, we were almost one hour late today, and around 10 of our volunteers had to focus only on managing the lineup.

We had already clearly mentioned in our post that nobody can hold a spot for friends, family, or neighbours. It is strictly first come, first served.

Please share your input on what exactly happened and how such a large group suddenly joined the line together. We need to understand what went wrong so we can prevent this from happening again.

We are here to help you, so please help us help you. 🙏 We are serving 2,000+ people, and one small issue can create problems and delays for everyone. Please cooperate, follow the lineup rules, and help us keep everything fair, respectful, and organized.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. ❤️

Grocery + 🎂 IS YOUR BIRTHDAY IN SEPTEMBER? 🎂🎉

❤️ THEN THIS CELEBRATION IS FOR YOU! ❤️

❤️ SEPTEMBER: A MONTH OF JOY, MEMORIES & TOGETHERNESS ❤️

September holds a very special place in my heart. It brings celebration, memories, sorrow, gratitude and new beginnings.

🌱 Guru Nanak Free Kitchen began in September 2016, and this September we are grateful to celebrate 10 YEARS of serving our community.

🙏 September is also the month when I lost my beloved mother during COVID. While we celebrate, I remember her with love and gratitude. Her memories and blessings will always remain part of this journey.

🎂 September is also my birthday month, and this year I don’t want to celebrate alone. I want to celebrate with all of you.

🎉

If YOUR BIRTHDAY IS ANY DAY IN SEPTEMBER, please come and celebrate with us this Saturday!

Whether there are 10, 100 or 1,000 September birthdays, we will celebrate together. Bring your original government-issued ID showing your date of birth, and we’ll cut the cakes together and celebrate YOUR birthday with the whole community! 🎂🥳

🛒🥦 FREE GROCERY DISTRIBUTION WILL ALSO TAKE PLACE THE SAME DAY AS USUAL.
Come for the celebration and share the spirit of Love All, Feed All. ❤️
